If your baby’s crawling, can they clap?

I recently heard babies need to clap before they can crawl and I just wondered if there’s any truth to this? My baby isn’t doing either yet 
If they are doing both which was first? Thanks! X

Mine crawled before he could sit up. 🤣 we’re working on clapping but so far no luck.

Mine army crawled and then like, tried legit crawling, but army crawling was faster, and then he started clapping and now does both army crawling and regular crawling. I don’t know if there’s a connection with the clapping. 😂

Never heard of this either! My son can crawl but isn’t quite clapping yet. He’ll smack our hands down together but not his.

Mine can't clap, at all. Won't even attempt it. He is however crawling and has been for well over a month, pulls himself to standing and walks while holding on to things. Every baby is different and reaches milestones at different times. I've never heard of this though!
