Ovulation booster??

Question

I've been trying for number  #2 for about 15 months. My obgyn says my progesterone level is low (8.8) and my left tube is blocked. Thay want me to see an specialist for ovulation booster. Anyone have to do this?.

I don’t have a left tube due to an ectopic pregnancy (while I was on clomid) and I’m pregnancy naturally with my second now.  They tested something and found out I had a mthfr ( blood clotting and folic acid issue) and a carrier for factor 5 or whatever.  They started me on aspirin and extra folate I get from amazon. And both times I have gotten pregnant since have been healthy. My boy will be 3 next month and currently 12 weeks pregnant.

We tried for about 6 months and I found I wasn’t ovulating. My dr put me on clomid which did increase my progesterone levels but not enough so I was switched to Femara. That helped my levels and allowed my body to release the eggs I ovulated but I still wasn’t getting pregnant so I had an HSG (hysterosalpingogram) which showed my right tune was blocked. After about a year of trying and a failed iui we went and saw a fertility specialist who had me on Femara to ovulate and then ovidrel (called a trigger shot) to help me release the eggs for our timed IUI. We got pregnant that way.
