Has your baby started making consonant sounds yet?

My daughter is 6.5 months and Im still yet to hear it. Feel like everyone elses babies are making all the ‘ba’ ‘ma’ ‘da’ sounds.

I have a very serious quiet baby. She will laugh but you gotta work for it. And she mostly screams (happily). She will occasionally babble but I don't hear constant sounds yet.

mine LO says “mama, dada, baba, and a bunch more” idk why but he loves making the “Sssss and thh” sound. it’s so cute!

My son is 7 months and just randomly started making like 4 new sounds, la, da, ba, and ma, like all overnight!

She’ll do it when ready my son is 7 months old and hasn’t done it yet either but my older was around this time. He does watch my mouth when when I try getting him to say da da.

Ds, Hs, and Ms are his favorite. I’m surprised he hasn’t said mom or dad yet. Lol. He’s always like ma ma ma ma HAAAA.
