Transitioning to crib?

Question

Baby boy has slept in our room in a cosleeper/bassinet since he was born. We are all ready to transition him to his crib in his room. Any tips? We’ve been trying to do naps in his room and he’s not loving it.

We just dropped him in and called it a night lol. There isn’t really a way to transition, you just do it. We rocked him to sleep first but he wakes up a little when we walk him to bed and then he puts himself back to sleep

You kind of just need to bite the bullet when it comes to putting them in their own room. It was definitely harder on us than our baby! 😂 Our girl doesn’t like naps in her crib either, but has slept in her crib at night since she was 3 weeks old. The first night I watched the monitor like a hawk, but over time it got a lot easier. Now we leave the monitor screen off when we go to sleep and turn the volume down so that we can only hear her if she cries or makes loud noises. You got this mama!!! 💗
