Bassinet, Crib, or Both??

Question

So my MIL got me a bassinet and I’m also going to have a crib obviously. Anyone else do both?

I get both. I keep the baby in my room in the bassinet until they are 5 or 6 months then I move them to the crib in their own room.

We have both! The bassinet is in our room next to my side of the bed where she will sleep at night for the first 6ish months. The crib is in the next room for during the day nap times & then we’ll transition her once she’s ready!

I did both. Had a bassinet in my bedroom, then a pack n play, then moved to crib at 1 year old in her own room. (Her bedroom was across the house but in all fairness I’m gonna keep the next baby in our bedroom for the first year as well)

We got a crib and a pack and play that has a bassinet and changing table. They both will last forever. For the crib we also bought the toddler rail and twin bed conversion so they were great deals and we got them on sale and used coupons too.

We’re using both. We have a infant bed that attaches to ours (like an extension) for nighttime and a bassinet on wheels to move around the house during the day.

Yea I did bassinet first then when my daughter got bigger I had her in a pack n play in my room then at 5 months she went to her crib

We got both. Baby’s room was set up before birth. Planned on having the baby in the bassinet in our room for 2 months or so. It lasted 2 weeks then he was sleeping in his own room in the crib. The bassinet was very convenient for those 2 weeks. (Glad we got one used though)
