Are you and your partner/husband/boy friend having absolutely no sex whatsoever? My husband and I haven’t had sex in 7 months. We haven’t been saying “I love you” in at least 3 months. I know he’s not cheating because he’s home with the baby. Any advice?

That’s basically how our relationship was going until I had a little breakdown lol. We were kind of forced into talking about it and he told me he was being distant because I was depressed and he thought I wanted space. He apologized, told me he loves me, and everything drastically improved. We interact a lot more, are more affectionate towards one another, and have sex at least every other day.

Have you talked to him about it? Tried saying I love you first? My husband and I are having sex, but not even close to how often we were before baby got here. There are other ways to show affection though; we say I love you multiple times a day, kiss/hug/cuddle, try to spend time together as much as possible. Do you have any other physical connection besides sex?

Initiate. Start saying I love you and how much you appreciate him. Hug him for no reason. Make bonding time a priority. I try my best to make sure I have a few minutes alone with my husband in the morning to drink our coffee together, talk,  and pump each other up for the day. I try scheduling the 1st nap to fall into that time slot. We go on dates when we can, it's not as often as before bc I don't like leaving my baby, but atleast every so often. Dress up in lingerie one night and surprise him. Spice things up a bit, it'll help you feel sexy too which is important. If your not in the mood, find other ways to be intimate, like snuggling or holding hands. Either way, it's normal for relationships to fall into a lull after having a baby, babies take so much of our time and affection. Talk honestly about your feelings with your husband and don't be hard on yourself. Once your baby starts getting a little older and more predictable, things will get easier. But the first year after baby is born ppl just get comfortable bc it's draining taking care of a baby. Good luck.

We were having sex 2-3 times a week but now all of a sudden our daughter won't sleep in her crib at all, over the past few nights. We nearly did yesterday because she settled in her crib but she woke up after a minute or two (literally as soon as we got naked). It would be weird to have sex while our daughter was in the bed. So god knows when we're next going to have sex...
As for saying "I love you", you should try saying it. Me and my Fiancé say it constantly. I swear it's like our most used phrase. Even at work we will message each other an "I love you". Sometimes even long paragraphs about how much we love each other. It might be nice to send him something like that To get the ball rolling, or do something special on Valentine's day

Sex?? We have only done it twice since baby came. He doesnt sleep & always poorly. I go to bed when the kids do, coz he'll sleep for 3 hours when first goes down, then wakes every 1-3 hours. Xx

We're very intimate and close in other ways but my mind / body aren't interested in sex at the moment and tbh neither is he. Our son doesn't sleep through the night and is breastfed.

My hubby and I haven’t had sex in almost 2 years. The IVF process was pretty taxing and he didn’t want to while I pregnant. He also has a lot of health issues so he’s usually too tired. I don’t feel like doing it these days anyways.
