confused

so i just took a pregnancy test just to be curious cause i just went to the emergency room on feb 7 due to a miscarriage that the doctors were saying i am having because i had bleeding and my pregnancy tests are the most positive it’s ever been ? is this normal ? i was told i had a miscarriage at 4 weeks and my hcg was at 209 on feb 7... i haven’t had a check up since then. what do y’all say ? the emergency room also did a trans vaginal ultrasound and they said they didn’t see any sac or pregnancy ... so i’m so confused
