i’ve been wanting to get on birth control for the longestttt time! i always bring it up to my mom because my period are very irregular but she always says no :/// im 17 and i’ve been asking for 3 years but her answer has not changed. i don’t want to wait another year to get it after already waiting this long...

if you can’t find any other ways to convince your mom.. search your state online, in some states you are allowed to go to your doctors/clinic by yourself and get on birth control without parent permission if under 18! if cost is an issue, you may need to show them your insurance (but your mom MAY find out the insurance is being used on BC).
most birth control pills are $30-50 monthly depending on the brand. but there is a variety of different BC for you to choose from other than the pill :) hope this helps
