My ex and I divorced about two and a half years ago. We have three children together who are now 17, 18, and 20. Our divorce ended on very bitter terms. A month ago our daughter who’s 18 was graduating from the Army’s AIT Geospatial Engineer program. She was also receiving special recognition for maxing out her pt test. My mom, my youngest child and I went and it was a wonderfully special event. I discovered that her dad, his fiancé, and her two sons were supposed to attend but couldn’t as she was pregnant and sick, which is completely understandable! However, tonight, my daughter found out from her dad and his fiancé that there is no baby and it was faked!!!! That they didn’t want to come because I was there!!!! Wtf?! I’m so hurt as my ex used to never, NEVER be this type of person, but this is who he is now, and he purposefully hurt our daughter!! I just wanted to rant and get this out of my system before I exploded. Has anybody else had to deal with a situation(s) like this? If so, how did you handle it?
