Junel BC causing EXTREME cramps? BV? Yeast?
Please if anyone can help it would be awesome. I’ll try keeping it short.
For the past 3 years I’ve been on nexplanon and every couple of months I would have very mild cramps whenever I had to pee. Then the pain would go away but by pain I mean like a 1 out of 10.
Fast forward my nexplanon ran out and I switched to Junel Fe 1.5/30 with my FIRST dose I started getting those cramps again but usually I’ll take this pill prescribed by my doctor (he thought I had an overactive bladder) and it will go away within two days. This time it lasted for a week and the pain was at a 9/10 and in the middle of the night I went to the hospital. They ran tests so many. My bladder, kidneys, pelvic area are ALL fine. My ovaries and uterus is all fine.
Went to the gyno and she said I had BV(had no common symptoms that go along that but I trusted her test) She gave me pills but said the pills would cancel out my birth control. So the pain went away. The following week I had my period so no pills were taken.
Fast forward to right now lol I started my new pack a couple of days ago and the pain came back. Not extreme but pain is there. I googled stuff and people were saying to take monistat & me being desperate I did I took 2 doses so far and my cramps are going away (I know monistat can’t heal BV but I don’t even know if I truly even have it. Also I know it’s mainly for yeast infections but it’s an antifungal so that’s why I tried it just to see if maybe I had one)
My question lol:
Has anyone experienced this pain with any birth control? Junel? They are NOT period cramps. They feel totally different. It’s very painful.
I just stopped taking my pill and will update to let you know if the pain officially stopped or not.
Basically I was on that pill for one week and the pain got really bad on like the 2nd week. I started the pills that cancel out my BC during the 2nd week going into my 3rd row of pills and then the 4th row my period came, NEW pack I started and the cramps started again. So that’s why I’m assuming it might be the pill causing my cramps.
