So I just ended my fertile window and I started getting either some spotting or dark colored discharge. I don’t usually spot in between periods and this doesn’t look like normal spotting. I recently got tested for STIs and it came back negative, but it took a while for the results to come back (I had to follow up with my doctor) so I’m paranoid they were wrong. But I don’t have any other symptoms like bumps down there or any pain (which is also why I don’t think it’s a yeast infection). I had unprotected sex with someone a few weeks ago who thought they were clean cause they didn’t have any symptoms (and hadn’t had sex in months) but had never been tested (and I was like dude that doesn’t mean you’re clean). But again, my results were negative that I got tested 3.5 weeks after I slept with him (right timing). So this shouldn’t be an STI right? Especially since I don’t have any other symptoms other than the weird colored discharge? What could it be?
