Is anyone a Type 1 Diabetic (or even GD) and had a natural, medication free childbirth? I really am considering it. I know that I will most likely have to have pitocin during labor. I can't carry past 39 weeks but my first was born at 35w3d because I had preeclampsia and was already in active labor. They used pitocin then to speed things up. Anyway- I am super interested but also nervous! I don't have time to attend any childbirth classes so reading books would be my only resource minus Internet research. Any help is appreciated! TIA!
