WHAT TEST DO THE DOCTORS RUN TO TEST FOR PCOS

Hi guys so I’ve always had irregular periods for the most part I’m trying to get pregnant but I been taking the ovulation kits for the past two months and no ovulation. So I have a doctors appointment today to find out if I have PCOS.  But I want to know what test do they do ? Just wanna be prepared. Thanks ladies !!

Transvaginal ultrasound and bloodwork.  That's how they found mine.

Bloodwork showed my testosterone was elevated and my cholesterol levels were wonky. I was also anovulatory and they checked for cysts on my ovaries by a transvaginal ultrasound 3x before they saw the cysts. The time they saw them they had given me progesterone to make me get my period.
They also checked my glucose and a1c a few times but they were normal. Once they confirmed the cysts they sent me to an endocrinologist and he checked my insulin, which was 5x the norm because of the insulin resistance. I had been taking metformin but was raised on the dosage from 500mg daily to 2000mg daily and that has helped a lot. I didn’t ovulate until I was on letrozole though.
