Paragard

Hi ladies,

I’m considering Paragard, the copper non-hormonal IUD. I read that it can likely cause heavier bleeds and worsen cramps. I am concerned about rarer side effects like infections, painful sex, toxicity or expelling it. I have never been pregnant so I also was told I might experience more pain during insertion.

I wanted to come here and ask if anyone has personal experience with it that they don’t mind sharing.
