It's official - I have PCOS

Tiffany • 31 years old w/PCOS. Conceived a girl (born Jan. ‘17) on Clomid. Now forty weeks pregnant with a baby girl with the help of Letrozole aka Femara
My transvaginal/pelvic ultrasound showed a picture of what was described as many cycts on my ovaries.  Wow... I just can't believe I have it.  It took a week to get this news, but I was sure this wasn't going to be the case.  It crossed my mind a couple times, but I thought this would be more noticeable.  I mean, I've always heard that women with PCOS have painful twinges... but I guess I'm just not one of those girls.
My doctor called to tell me this morning and to let me know where we go from here.  I'm not ovulating at all she said.  Not sure if I'll be taking clomid, metformin or both - but my lab tests will help determine this.
*Sigh* - and as I suspected, she also wants me to lose 10 pounds.
Feeling very discouraged today.  I know this hormonal disorder is very common, but I feel broken.  How many more months of trying will this take??
I feel like the baby in my dreams is forever away :-(
I will keep you all informed when I get my lab test results and what the next plan will be.
FX for all of you ladies.
