We did the low everything diet with 45+ minutes of cardio most days to try for a girl. We have a baby boy. We got pregnant our first month with the changes (we weren’t even trying to get pregnant yet), sometimes my husband says we needed more time. It was interesting to read all that stuff. I think if my husband asks to try it all again if we have another I’d be game, can’t hurt as long as we don’t get crazy obsessed.

There is some research into low calorie diets but more research needs to be done and it’s only increasing your chances by a small percentage. The low calorie diet comes with other risks though- decreases your chance of getting pregnant at all and increases health risks for you and your baby. All other gender swaying techniques have been debunked. The only 100% way is through IVF.
I thought I wanted a girl before I started TTC, we ended up with a boy and I wouldn’t swap him for the world.

I havent but I know a couple who did all the "gender swaying" things for each pregnancy and got the desired outcome for all 5 pregnancies. Could be a coincidence but honestly I don't know anyone else that bothered. My dad's lifestyle naturally meets most of the gender swaying things for girls and my parents ended up with 4 daughters too. I've not looked into if there's any actual science in it.
