So, my partner and I have talked about eventually having kids together. We're both into the idea and excited about it, even though we know it'd be a ways in the future for sure.

The thing is, we're not married, and for a number of reasons we can't and/or don't want to get married.

All of a sudden, I've been worrying that not being married would make it weird for us to /plan/ to have a kid. I feel like people who aren't married definitely can and do have kids, but I feel like planning it that way is still a little foreign of a concept to most people.

Idk, it might just be me seeing it that way right now, and I could be way off as far as how common it is, so just out of curiosity, what do y'all think about actively ttc without being married?
