Clomid

Nicole

Hey ladies!!! I’d love some insight! As I have been reading up on there forums it seems that many of you that are on clomid tend to have follow up ultrasounds and bloodwork etc... to see if the clomid was successful.

I just took my final dose of clomid, this is our second round. My OB/GYN is great and has been very understanding and has listened to all of my concerns in dealing with PCOS and infertility. When I was put on clomid I was told that we would try it for 3 cycles and if there was still no pregnancy then we would need to come in for a follow up visit but he didn’t mention further testing during the cycles to see if the clomid was successful. I’m wondering if this is a common practice? I mean he did instruct me to use opks and we did get a positive ovulation test last month...

Just wondering if I should maybe request additional testing this cycle???
