Anyone gone from exclusive breastfeeding to formula? And how did you do it?

I had to start supplementing around 2.5 months, she started going down in percentiles. I would just nurse her first and then top up with formula after. Now she is 6 months and I give her 2 bottles during the day in between nursing. I had to try a few formulas before I found one that didnt upset her tummy, ended up using Enfamil Gentleease. I also had to try a couple bottles until I got one she liked. Ended on the ComoTomo bottle. It's designed to mimic a boob lol

I worked with a lactation consultant so she guided me, pick a feeding to drop (drop breast give bottle instead) every 5-10 days depending on how you feel drop another. Dont drop consecutive feedings. Keep going til your done.
For me my daughter was nursing every 2-2 1/2 hours so she was having 6 daytime feedings. I felt the most full first thing in the morning so I started with feeding #2. Went 2,4,6,3,5. I figured I would drop the first feeding followed by the overnight but at that point she started sleeping 12 hours.
