My OB referred me to a pelvic floor physical therapist at my 6-week follow-up. My prolapse is minor and I just started my sessions, but I’m hopeful that this will dramatically improve my quality of life, which isn’t at all bad compared to some stories I’ve heard but it could be better.

I have a rectocele which is a prolapse of the vaginal wall. It was terrible about 6-10 weeks pp. it’s been slowly improving. I’m not constantly uncomfortable, just sometimes 🤦🏻‍♀️ my OB said at 6months post partum we will have a better idea “what my new vagina looks like”
