So my best friend of 17 years moved in with me in November. Recently a family event has caused me to have to move to another state.

I'm obviously upset about the move, but she's taking is so much harder than me. Her anxiety has gone way up, she's crying more, and she's becoming withdrawn.

We talked a bit today and she said she's afraid of how our friendship will change after I move.

How do i reassure her we will be alright?

We were never the type of friends to text each other 24/7 ect. We literally used to talk a few times a month, but we know if we really needed each other we would drop everything.

I don't want this hurting her and I can't leave her with her feeling this way. I move in a week, we're both broke, so we can't do anything really.

We just went and got some piercings together and all last week we ordered movies at home.
