A little worried

So my grandmother (I call her oma) called me yesterday to check on Colton. During our conversation she said she needs to take me and my husband out to eat along with my dad and uncle (the only close family) to talk about something important.

My Oma doesn’t do this, she never takes people out to eat and she never says “we have something very important to tell you all so don’t miss it”

After the phone call I noticed she sounded very quiet and sad. She kept talking about having to go to the VA with my papaw and chemo treatments with my aunt and she’s just stretched to the max. Then she started talking about how she wants to keep Colton more.

I’m pretty scared something is wrong. Like papaw is dying or something. At first I thought it was just going to be a talk about their will but then I was thinking about all the trips to the VA hospital for papaw.

If your oma told you this would you be worried or am I overthinking it? I’m just worried, papaw is in his 70’s and oma is in her 60’s. I know she’s healthy because I feel like she would have told me. But papaw is kinda private. And for them to only be having us is weird. I’m like her daughter. She raised me. So that’s why I thought it was a will thing. What do you think?
