Hi girlies! I was wondering: when is the best time to have sex to AVOID pregnancy? I know you definitely should not have sex during your fertile window, so is it safer before or after the window? I’m so confused. Like when is the ideal day or week or whatever where the risk is the lowest possible???

Use condoms and get on birth control and then you don’t have to worry about a “safe” time.
This app is just a guess. You probably don’t actually ovulate when the app says and sperm can live inside you for up to 5 days.

I ended up ovulating a week late and that’s how I got pregnant😅 If you’re trying to avoid pregnancy the best thing to do is use some type of protection. Sometimes apps to track your cycle can be misleading.

Your likelihood of getting pregnant is the same before or after your fertile window. Just make sure you KNOW know when your fertile window is. With a basal body temp thermometer or test strips. Because the apps guess is not going to be accurate for everyone.
