This is stupid.. I know.. Most people have supervisors..

But I've been doing my job for 5 years..

Was placed directly under the manager, the manager wasn't up in my business, trusted me, gave me freedom and I naver gave him any reason to think that was not right.

Then I got a team.. Was basically, since I started this team and senior to them, their "leader" unofficially.. And I led them and we were all happy and working hard for like 3 years.

Now my management changed.. My work and schedule changed, and I now have a supervisor, who btw has horrible leadership skills and doesn't speak our language even. Favors people (definitely not me 🤣) and gets up in my business.. And it frustates me.

Only today I was having an access thing.. I might not get in because she hadn't sheduled my security training soon enough and I don't have access to my training files.

So I checked with security, what my options were..

And I told one of my colleagues that I was coming in extra (usually work from home, but still working) and getting my security shit fixed. So he told her, and even though I had told my colleague I had it sorted she still went behind my back and contacted security again to check thesame thing I had checked.

This is so frustrating she only talks to me under absolute need.. Like when I walk into the office and greet everyone she doesn't even respond. Same with my female colleague btw.. If it's me and my female colleague the new spv doesn't shed a word...

I tried to converse with her in the beginning.. To reach out.. Even though her being invasive in our team requires her to reach out.. And she doesn't go for it.

(I call her being invasive because we were an autonomous team & her manager boyfriend pulled some strings to make her supervisor to our team. She doesn't even know our job there wasn't even a job opening)
