So I just need to get something off my chest. I simply do not want to breast feed. My husband is going to be a stay at home dad because he just lost his job and I’m not taking any maternity leave because my job doesn’t offer paid maternity leave. It’s just so much easier for us if we do formula especially because I’m scared to breast feed and I’m worried about having enough time to pump and my supply drying up because of it. I just don’t want to breast feed. I expressed my concerns and told my husbands family I don’t plan on breast feeding and they were very very upset with me. They made me feel like I’m a terrible mom for 1- they said they can’t believe I wouldn’t take any maternity leave , and 2- they said the baby is going to end up sickly and unhealthy for my choice of not breast feeding. Am I a terrible mom? Baby is coming in two months and I’m a first time mom. Any advice on how to deal with in laws and them thinking I’m a terrible mom?
