Question

How does this happen? I’m on the mini pill norethindrone and I’ve been on it for almost a year. In March it will mark a year of being on it. I hear all these horror stories about people who are on the mini pill who take it perfectly and still manage to get pregnant. I was curious to how that even happens?

Moral of the story is: shit happens. 
But just because it happens to others doesn’t necessarily mean it’ll happen to you. Nothing is 100%, but it’s better to be 99% safe than sorry. 
There’s different circumstances for different people. Some take it perfectly, some think they do, some just don’t follow directions, some let men cum inside, some don’t, some still use condoms, some don’t. 
Just be safe, take your pill as directed, and don’t overthink it. 
If you think you’ll feel better switching pills, then just talk it out with your doctor and find what works best for you.
