7w3d but measuring 5w5d???

Question

I went for my first ultrasound today assuming that I was 7 weeks and 3 days. But baby is measuring 5 weeks 5 days. Does this ultrasound look normal or concerning to anyone? My dr said I have absolutely nothing to worry about but I can’t help but worry until I go back in two weeks 🤦🏼‍♀️

If your doctor said you have nothing to worry about then go by what they’re telling you. I totally understand seeking support from others on this app but most of us aren’t medical professionals who know how to read or look at ultrasounds. You could have ovulated later than you thought and just not be quite as far. That’s my best guess. 💕💕

The same thing happened to me and I made the terrible mistake of taking the pills without getting a second opinion. I regret it everyday. Try not to stress and enjoy every minute of your baby!
