How do I get her to let me clip her nails! She is 18 months and HATES it. Her nails are so long and need to be done but last time was a disaster so I’m trying to avoid it. We try bribery, snacks, special tv time and iPad (these things are limited to her) I cut my nails first to show her, distraction... But the moment I grab her hand she pulls it away and starts screaming. She’s never been hurt by it, but she’s hated it as long as I can remember with her. She doesn’t sleep in our arms anymore so waiting till she’s asleep isn’t an option. Anything I’m missing? ☹️ Its so hard looking at her little finger nails being so long! We’ve also tried just holding her and forcing it but that didn’t work either. She is insanely strong... like insanely. She’ll dislocate her shoulder trying to get away.
