‘Naps’
I don’t remember struggling this much with our first over naps. Baby boy won’t nap unless you’re holding him and the moment you put him down he only sleeps for 20-30min.
I know he’s getting over tired but I don’t know what do to, I cannot hold him all day as his big sis needs some attention too!
Currently 9w and yes I know we’re coming to the end of leap 2. It’s just he wakes and is up for 2-3hrs then naps for 30min and it’s feeding time again so we start the cycle over.
Right after a feed I try to keep him upright for half an hour or so as I feel he may have reflux, if you lay him down he spits up, (cry’s through burps, constantly smacking his tongue with a face like he’s got something coming back up, gags off and on). After the half hour we try to do some tummy time, usually we roll over and sing songs with big sis, play peek-a-boo and then I lay him on his play mat for a little while. Once he starts to get fussy I pick him up and we see if he wants the paci which usually he does, snuggle him until he’s almost out and attempt the first put down. That always fails, so I snuggle him some more until he is out and then lay him down, usually he wakes 5min after I put him down, we repeat basically until the next bottle.
