What would you do at this point?
I have a little one who will be 3 next month. We’ve officially crossed the 1 year threshold for trying to conceive baby number 2. I had an ectopic pregnancy last March treated with methotrexate and a MMC in October. My periods have been irregular (21-42 days) but I go through a lot of OPKs and I know that I do ovulate.
I’m just feeling emotional and defeated. I really want another baby. I feel like my situation doesn’t fit any of the classic scenarios for infertility treatments. Clearly I can get pregnant. I do ovulate although not necessarily consistently. I don’t meet the classic definition of recurrent miscarriage because my losses were due to different causes.
What would you do at this point? Just keep chugging along and timing with OPKs each month? Try to get my doctor to prescribe clomid? Make an appointment with a reproductive endocrinologist?
I guess I’m just looking for a little hope and guidance. Thank you.
