Implant question?

I’m super anxious person and I got my implant on 2/7, I’ve read that most people start bleeding right away. But I haven’t had anything happen yet. Is that normal? How long did it take others? Help give me some peace of mind?

i didn’t start bleeding until a month later. then for 2 months straight i was bleeding/ spotting. it’s gonna away now but i’m expecting it to come back at some point lol. all in all, it takes a bit for ur body to get used to the hormone changes so wait it out.

it’s totally normal, i got my implant last year july, didn’t get a period until last month and now my period gone

I didn’t get bleeding right away. I got spotting close to my period though

so i got the implant on the 3rd of feb this year and i was due to start my period the same day. i haven’t yet startsd my period. however it’s like 1 in 10 women who’s period stop completely. 5 in 10 women have infrequent lighter bleeding and 3 in 10 women have heavy frequent bleeding. I wouldn’t be to worried if i were you.

My doctor explained that it might cause all of these things etc. So i’m hoping that your doctor did the same. If it’s starting to really worry you then maybe go back but you might just be a lucky person who doesn’t get a period anymore!
