Peak vs positive?

Just started using OPKs. What’s the difference between a peak and a positive? I thought they were the same thing.

This was my peak. This is when you are about to ovulate.

A positive opk test means you are on the verge of releasing the egg (peak) and the egg lives up to 24hrs. I guess the difference is the test doesn’t actually tell you you have ovulated but you are about to. Hope this makes sense 🤔

Positive is when the lines are same color, peak is when test line is darker than control. Peak just means youre closer to ovulation. But you base ovulation off of 12-36 hrs after first positive
