Toddler asthma
So last week my 2 1/2 year old was seen at dr for persistent cough. Dr heard wheezing and is concerned about asthma but can’t get diagnose so he gave me a nebulizer and said use it twice a day when he has a cough. We are to follow up in 3 months and if I use it so many times within those months then they will diagnose him with asthma (I think he said more than 3 times a month).
he has a cough everyday, he coughs all throughout the day. Does that mean he is to use the nebulizer daily? I’m so confused. Of course I will contact the dr when they open after the weekend but like ugh.
He doesn’t seem to have trouble breathing though. Just a cough throughout the day.
Has anyone experienced this with a toddler of theirs?
