Is this normal?
So my son used to babble ALL the time, around 6 months and onward, recently, within the past week or so, he has stopped. He doesn't say his babababa, dadadada or mamama like he used to. To add on top of that, whenever he is occupying himself or looking around and we call his name, he doesn't turn his head to look at us, most of the time. He likes to make noises and will react when he knows he is doing something "bad", like going to pull a cord.., but aside from that, he doesn't babble or react to his name. All other milestones he has meet withflying colors (he is 8 months, turning 9 this upcoming week). we are just growing concerned because we are aware he should be doing those things by now
Yes we read to him (a lot), we talk to him, look at him while doing so, explaining things to him, the normal works. He was his doctors appointment next week, and I plan to bring it up, but I just want to see if anyone else is going through this or just opinions. (We are fully aware that he may even be on the spectrum because of these actions)
