Due to having two MMC in a row, my OBGYN sent a referral to the fertility clinic to help me get tested! So here I am...a long journey of 3 months till my hcg was less than 2 to finally get the ball rolling on fertility testing to investigate why I keep miscarrying?!? First of all, I got a bunch of lab testing such as TSH, lupus, DM, anticoagulants, chromosome genetic labs (which will take up to 2 weeks for results to come in!) and all these others one that came back negative. Apparently my prolactin was slightly elevated at 34 and the cut off was 30. I honestly have no idea what this means at all. The next step was vaginal/pelvic ultrasound which came back normal and then I was able to do HSG to make sure my tubes aren’t block. That came back negative as well. Now I’m like what next? I assume it’s to wait for my chromosome genetic testing?! I’m so confused and just wondering why do I keep miscarrying? Anyone have experience with fertility testing? Am I suppose to check the viability of my eggs!? Any input would be appreciated! I think I’m going to just try conceive in the meantime...
