Hi all, so I have a little bit of a problem. I have two cats.. and until I accidentally knocked over our baby gate to the nursery they were rarely in there. We plan on putting the gate back up, but I know my two cats can jump it (I’ve seen them do it). The one cat (only one of them) has been found laying in the crib twice.

Even though, currently our baby is still in his bassinet and he not using the crib yet. I worry for the time I transfer him to his crib. I’ve heard of cats snuggling with babies at night and possibly smothering them. This concerns me.

Anyone else face a similar issue with pets? And any advice to prevent the cats from getting into the crib? I’m worried that now he found that spot, event when I put the baby gate back up, he’ll jump it just to lay in there.;
