Leaving kids in the car

It’s 11 degrees with a windchill. I needed to run into the gas station to pay. I bundled my 3 year old up and we ran in. My question is, what do moms of more then one do? Do y’all unbuckle put on coats and boots and bring them all into the gas station to pay quickly or do you lock the doors and run in on your own? No judgment just truly curious. Mind you we live in a small town not a city. Low crime rate but I am ruled by my anxiety
