Medela or Spectra?

My insurance covers either. Have been doing research and reading reviews but would like to get some feedback on both. Thanks in advance!

I have both, and I 100% prefer the spectra. The suction seems stronger to me, it’s almost silent, and there’s a light for middle of the night pumping. I never seem to get as much with the Medela, and the noise from it wakes my daughter in the middle of the night. The only thing I like better about the medela is that the flanges come off so it’s easier to use with a pumping bra.

I’ve had both spectra and medela (medela for first baby, and spectra for second). I know this seems to be the uncommon answer, but I liked my medela so much better! I actually went back and got another medela for baby #3. I was able to get almost double the milk faster with the medela than spectra. Although lots of positives about the spectra (quieter, night light, timer, etc) the most important factor is milk output. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I love my Spectra S1.  I can pump in the car on the way home, and walk around the house/my classroom while pumping and it has great suction.
