HELP. Sick and fussy baby! How to soothe your baby??

My 7 month old son has his first sickness/cold. He has a nasty cough and really bad congestion. He’s been to the doctors twice and they say it’s just viral.

We’ve been doing absolutely everything and nothing seems to satisfy him. We hold him/swaddle him, prop him up when he sleeps. We have been giving him Tylenol and Motrin. We have a humidifier in his room. Anything we do nothing works. He just screams his head off until he eventually falls asleep.

This momma is mentally exhausted and feels like a terrible mother because I can’t help my son.

Any suggestions??? Please help
