Second time moms: baby shower or not?

Second time moms... did you have a baby shower for your second baby? Especially if you had opposite gender babies. Yes or no and why?

Yes. Had one for each other my babies. All have been small because my family lives out of town. Celebrate each baby if you want. Who cares, this is your baby!!  If they have a problem they don’t have to go.

We’ll there’s going to be a 15 year gap between my daughter and baby #2 soooo yes ma’am I will be having another shower 🤣

I don’t know anyone who has ever had a second shower so I would feel embarrassed to do that. I’m hoping to do a baby naming when she is about 8 days old, and close family and friends can celebrate her then.

I had one for my first but will not for my son. They’ll be two years apart and are both boys so I really don’t need anything. I celebrate the baby every day and so do my family so I don’t feel the need to do the baby shower because I have everything i already need material wise. However if it was a girl i would.

We are planning on having a small sprinkle if this baby is what sneak peek said.  There are NO baby girls in our family so me and no one around me has baby girl items.

I didn't think I would but #2 is due in April and some friends wanted to throw me a shower in May. The gender is a surprise this time around so that's why they're doing it after. I didn't expect it but it's always appreciated, of course.

I’ll be having a baby sprinkle. My son is 20 months and we are having a girl! So I have no girl clothes or anything. I need a couple big things but I’m buying that myself and doing something small. Celebrate that baby!

Yes, but it was much smaller than my first. It was just with close friends and family.
