Anyone else?

We are so thankful and blessed to have a family that cares so much for Madeleine. However, every single time we visit they act like it's her birthday or Christmas. She gets at least 3 new toys, stuffed animals or books  every time. She could play with a new toy until she's about 7.  The amount of blankets she's received could cover my house and yard. You would think we ran a daycare out of the house with about 10 kids.

We don't have much family around but we have a family friend that gives baby something everytime we visit. It's really sweet, and they don't have much, but it isn't necessary. Some of it I've taken to goodwill so others can enjoy. I am thankful and appreciative but also don't want baby to have too much. Don't get me wrong, she has plenty but she doesn't need more than what she can enjoy.

Eek!! Maybe next time you/they visit, before hand just ask nicely they don’t purchase anything for her. Or maybe suggest an outfit for the next size up? Just mention they have already blessed her with so much that you’re running out of space.

We literally bought 3 toys for Christmas for my son because the grandparents buy so much, we just put money into his savings account. Ive tried so hard to ask them kindly to stop. At my house i have 5 strollers, an inside stroller, outside stroller, one from my car, one for my husband, and one for i don't even know but i have it. I tried to hid one to see if i could sell it or return it and just put the money into his account and she asked where it went..

Omg same here! Sometimes we joke with my husband that all of our family and friend were able to get rid of all of their baby stuff with us 😅😆
