Am i late for pumping?

Question

I am 26 days postpartum and i give my baby formula. Which i hate myself for.
I recently started pumping. But i get 40 CC in total only. 
My milk supply is sUUUper low which depresses me. And i cry every single time i feed him formula.
Should i continue pumping. Have you gone through the same . Or am i just late and i should quit instead??

If you’re still producing milk then you can always increase your production. The best way to do this is by putting baby to breast more often (or second best: pumping more often).

Every little bit of milk is great for baby, but don’t kill yourself with stress over pumping and output. Staying over hydrated is the first key, and lots of calories, then I would say being absolutely sure you are using the best possible pump fit and settings for you, then any nursing or skin to skin you can do with baby will also help your body produce milk. Hang in there, you are doing great.
