So I have been taking the contraceptive pill for about 3 years now and I went to see a gynaecologist not too long ago. She said to me that it would be good to take a month break from the pill every year or so. So for the first time ever on the 16th of January i stopped the pill. Throughout that period me and my boyfriend have been using condoms as some method of protection however the other night we had unprotected sex after a night out. This was on the 15th of February therefore this was the day I have taken my first pill from the break. I have taken the morning after pill today (so about 30 hours later after having unprotected sex) however the nurse said that it will have no effect at this point due to how far I am in the cycle. She said I was on day 24/25 which is very close to getting my period and therefore is very unlikely that I will get pregnant but she kept also saying that she can’t say it’s for definite because “everyone is different and therefore it’s not impossible”. This got me very very worried and I just wanted to see if there is anyone else who has been in a similar situation and what were the outcomes???

I’m only 19 and have just started university which is why I’m panicking so much, too young for a child :/
