Fever?

Is a 99.6 temp a fever? It’s stayed at this temp for a few hours even after Tylenol. I have strep it was about 101.4 this morning but has gone down to this level. I’m supposed to go back to work on Wednesday but my throat is still swollen with spots. I’ve been on antibiotics for almost 36hrs now. I still feel crummy. I finally have an appointment with the ENT on March 4th to hopefully get my tonsils removed after having these issues for almost two yrs. you can literally see my tonsils on the outside of my throat. And I’m so tired of being sick and having a sore throat constantly, not to mention bad breath and tonsil stones occasionally. So back to my original question. Does that count as a fever even as low grade? And would it be safe to go back to work on Wednesday? I walk in the elements 12+ miles a day. So. I’m not sure
