I have the kylena birth control, and the ob/gyn had said to check it when you get in the shower to feel the strings to make sure they are there or out of place. I have before tried checking for it but I could never find it/feel it but I wasn’t worried about it because I went back to the doctor and they said it was in place & everything was good. Yesterday I was showering and wanted to try to check it so I did and this time I actually felt something. It feels like plastic, like hard plastic pieces. Is this what they are considering the stings or is it out of place? Also around it are hard bumps on the wall around the birth control, I guess I would describe it as my vagina wall I’m not sure how to describe it. What would those be anyone know? I don’t remember them being there. Tia
