Weird period

My period was supposed to come last Friday (sain valentine's Day) but that day I only got a little of brown spotting, it came the Saturday (the 15th) with cramps but I've noticed that this time I didn't get the amount of discharge I'm used to. Also, the two first days I got a lot of dark brown discharge with the blood, thing that's unusual as bc my period always starts with a lot of blood. Last month my period was late two days BC I thought I was pregnant I panicked and stress made it come later. It is normal this change in my period?
