If your husband never wants sex, does he owe it to you to have it any?

Not a personal problem I’m having, I’ve just been shocked by what a lot of people think on here. So if your husband becomes disinterested in sex for, say, a couple of months, is he morally obligated to have sex occasionally with his wife anyway, provided she wants it?

I think if sex was a big part of the relationship in the beginning and it gets to the point of going months without, there’s a deeper issue there. 
Not saying anyone OWES sex 
But sex is a big part of my relationship with my husband and is a big part of the intimacy we share 
I would feel some type of way if he stopped having sex with me for months and I don’t know that I’d be able to sit around waiting for him to be the man I married. I’d want to discuss it with him and maybe even consider counselling. 
We have sex almost every day so it would be a red flag if it just stopped out of nowhere

Um, no. 
Sex drive can go up and down depending on what other stressors / medical issues are going on. Neither of you owe it to each other. You both have to want it.

I see a lot of comments... "no one owes anybody sex"...to me that's just wrong! Of course sometimes he might not be in the mood but to be DISINTERESTED, that's a huge flag, especially if he was  going balls deep in your sugar walls when the affection and love was at peak! Sex compatibility can and has broken relationships. It's a very huge deal in a relationship especially for sexually active people. Sex clears your mind, boosts your confidence and makes you feel good! And to me, couples should aim to please each other. Of course you need to respect when your partner can't do it but to disconnect entirely and not consider your sexual interests as well is just being selfish. I'll propose talk with your man, find out why he's not interested. Be open and respectful abt it and make him understand how u feel. Goodluck

Thanks everyone for your responses 💕 my husband and I both feel responsible for each other sexually and will happily have sex when we don’t ‘feel like it’ to please the other person (with the exception of illness, bereavement etc). I’m expecting my first and worried about how I can please him in my pp period when we can’t have sex so “traditionally”, especially if I’m very tired. 
I was surprised by a lot of people’s views in post comments (and the results of this poll) saying that they don’t feel at all guilty for depriving their husbands of sex. Not bashing on those people or anything, I was just surprised that my opinion wasn’t the majority.

In the same breathe, my so knows I hold him responsible for my sexual satisfaction.  That is what we signed up for with committing to a monogamous relationship and marriage. We match up well in our drives, and have from the start. Sure we each have turned down eachother, but life goes on. If my so were no longer interested in sex, and that were something I was not willing to give up, there would be a long discussion of my needs, his needs, and how both would be fulfilled.
