One and done?

Question

Has anyone made the decision to only have one child? It seems pretty medieval to me but, we have a boy due in less than 11 days and birth control is not an option we very conservative when it comes to hormones and things of that nature. I also dont want my husband getting a vasectomy because of reversal rates but.... we dont want to limit ourselves in the future if we decide that we do want another... on the off chance of that.
I'm going to be 23 and he is going to be 26. We lead a very get up and go on a whim life and we are hoping to maintain that with and by only having one child!
We have a method were going to try it worked before I got pregnant I'm just looking for opinions and anyone with experience with just one!

I was planning to be one and done. Then my daughter was born. Now I want 3 lol

We are open to one more child but we are also content with the one little boy we are about to have. After going through so many miscarriages and then dealing with not being able to get pregnant at all we are kind of weary to chance our luck. Happy with this one little boy, but if we did happen to have another that’d be okay too.

For the longest time I felt that I would only want one child , but I met my husband who already has a son , and we got pregnant immediately and a few weeks after my first appointment I lost the baby , to my surprise  two months later I was six weeks pregnant again,  and now I've already hit my second trimester and am so excited that I would love to experience pregnancy after my little one comes to give them more company and memories as they grow up . my mind has changed from only wanting one , so maybe just be careful and really decide if that's what YOU want not anyone else 😊
