Anyones 2 yr old need to be cuddled to go /stay sleep?

Baby is coming in May and I know my toddler will still be co-sleeping which I'm okay with but I just dont know how well she will be with baby in bed. What has worked for you to get your toddler in their own bed without the "crying it out" method

So. Sometimes my daughter (2.5) wants to be cuddled to go to sleep. And it’s hard for me to blame her sometimes-I like to cuddle some nights too. But we have a full size on the floor, and I turn on lullaby cartoons for her. It’s the same ones and there isn’t much to it so it’s not as interesting to make her stay up and watch. We put a baby gate in front of her door. We just laid her down, and let her know it was night night time. We sometimes have to go lay her back down. And she will protest. But she does eventually go to sleep.
Now a mom can tell differences in her baby’s cry. When she really can’t deal, I will go lay in HER bed with her. And that seems to do the trick from her crawling in my bed every night. 
Sometimes if I don’t wanna lay down with her for long and I know she’s sleepy, I’ll lay down for a minute, then say “wait a minute I have to go potty.”
I’ll leave for awhile and then come back for a few minutes then do the same thing “I’ll be back, I have to....whatever” and then wait for her to notice and then I’ll come back and say “see I was coming right back. Let’s lay down.” 
I don’t do that one tooooo much, but it works because she thinks she’s gonna get what she wants and lays there and then falls asleep. 😂

to be really honest here. my daughter has never had to have me with her to sleep, quite the opposite, if we lay with her she thinks it’s okay time. a lot of people frown upon the “cry it out” method but if you do it PROPERLY , nobody gets hurt, it works. my daughter is exactly two and we just got her in a full size bed from the crib. she does cry when she knows it’s bedtime and frys for me when i lay her down and walk out. but she within 5 minutes goes to sleep and calms down. i personally never wanted to have to cuddle my kid to sleep. it may be hard but you just have to lay them in bed, and when the get up 5 million times don’t say anything and walk them back to bed and leave the room. i know it’s hard hearing them cry or whine for you or be upset in general. but if they are SAFE and okay. it’s ok to let them self soothe and go to sleep. try a really strict bedtime routine

Can you try setting up a new room with a New bed and cuddling her to sleep in her own room? Or does she need to sleep by you all night? 
My son has been in his own room/crib since 8 weeks old. He’s now two and a half and sleeps in a big boy bed. We usually do bath and stories and several kisses and cuddles before we leave. He sometimes cries for us to come back and we do and get him whatever he needs quickly hand then leave again. 
I personal think trying a small change to start will be good. With the new baby coming you don’t want to send her to her own room sleeping alone with no cuddles if that is all she has known. Try her own room and bed and YOU come to her bed to cuddle her to sleep as a first step! :) I watch a YouTuber who co sleeps and that’s what she did ! I don’t co sleep but got the information from her ! :)

My kids rooms are too far from mine so while they are little they stay with me. We placed a queen size mattress on the floor of my bed room. My husband will stay with them every now and then. Its been easier this way since my 3 year old will sometimes needs to pee at night but won’t exactly get up by himself. My kids are 6 and 3( just turned days ago) and they might be moving upstairs soon, and I will stay in my room with baby. My husband will stay with them for a while. Their room is minimalistic so much that there is nothing for them to cause a ruckus with. Usually a couple of books will help on day when they are not quite sleepy.
