Feeding question.

Da

Hey mammas, my son just turned 9 months. We’ve been doing a mix of purées and BLW since he was about 5 months old. We offer a purée once a day and solid food twice a day. However, he’s still really picky with his solid foods. He’ll eat fries (regular or sweet potato), breads, quesadillas and we recently introduced apples and he seems to like them but we’ve only given him to them twice. Every dinner I offer him some sort of solid, but he very rarely eats any of it and often spits what he does take in out. I know he’s still getting nutrients from his formula, but I’m worried that he’ll be like this still in a few months once he’s off formula and won’t be eating enough. Any tips to get him to be more open to trying new textures? I’ve tried having him “share” (feed me the food) and letting him eat off my plate but nothings really helped so far. Has anyone thats experienced this found that this is just something he’s going to grow out of once we stop giving him formula? Everyone’s told me not to worry but I’m a huge worrier so that’s hard for me.
